This page explains how to delete your account in Picture Wizard, the Android app by Brett Fitzgerald, and what happens to your data.
How to request deletion
Email brettgfitzgerald@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Picture Wizard account. Please:
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Picture Wizard, if you can.
- Say whether you sign in with Google or with email and password.
You can also reach this page from the app: open the Generate screen, scroll to Account & help, and tap Request account deletion.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.
How we confirm it’s you
We reply to your sign-in email address and delete the account after you confirm from that address. If you no longer have access to that address, we may ask questions only the account holder could answer, such as roughly when you signed up or a recent prompt. We will never ask for your password.
What we delete
- Your account: your sign-in record, name and email address.
- Your credit balance and credit history.
- Every image and video you generated, including their share links, which stop working.
- Your prompts and generation history.
- Your favorites.
- Content reports you submitted, and reports other people submitted about your content.
- Copies of your name and email in our private operations alerts (sent when you sign up, buy credits or submit a report).
Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted and are not refunded. To ask for a refund of a recent purchase, contact us before requesting deletion; refunds follow Google Play’s refund policies.
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records. For each credit purchase we keep a one-way hash of the Google Play purchase token, the product, the Google Play order ID and the date. They are no longer linked to your account. We keep them so the same purchase can’t be redeemed twice, and for refund and accounting purposes. Google Play keeps its own purchase records under Google’s privacy policy.
- Server logs. Our backend logs can contain your account ID. They are deleted automatically within 30 days.
- Usage analytics. Google Analytics for Firebase records app usage against a random app-instance identifier (or, for some error events, a one-way hash of your account ID), not your name or email address. This data is deleted automatically at the end of the retention period set in Google Analytics.
How long it takes
We delete your account within 30 days of your confirmation and email you when it’s done.
